Patrick Mauro

Patrick Mauro has over thirty-five years of experience in investment finance. After receiving a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois (Chicago), he began his career as a stock broker for Merrill Lynch in 1968. In 1975, he purchased a membership on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and become an independent option market maker/floor trader for seven years. In 1982, he moved to the Midwest Stock Exchange and ran a trading floor operation for six years. In 1988, he joined the investment firm of Dean Witter where he managed accounts on a fully discretionary basis. In 1995, Mauro became a portfolio manager with a hedge fund, and then established his own firm, Patrick Mauro Investment Advisor, Inc. Patrick appeared regularly as a guest analyst on the web-based financial network WebFN.com. He is often interviewed for the noon business hour by WBBM News Radio 780. He has also been seen on CLTV and interviewed by the business section of the Chicago Tribune.

Daniel Mauro

Daniel Mauro has been actively involved in the financial markets since the year 2000. Dan received his BS in Physics from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1998 with the highest academic honors. He served as an artillery officer in the United States Army from 1998 to 2002. In 2002, he joined Patrick Mauro Investment Advisor, Inc, and in 2005 he received an MS in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating with honors. He has additional experience working with option trading firms at the CBOE and Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Dan specializes in quantitative investment techniques, and has traded extensively in stocks, commodities, and options.

Henry Criz

Henry runs the marketing of Patrick Mauro Investment Advisor, Inc. Like Patrick and Daniel, Henry has successfully completed the Series 65, Registered Investment Advisor examination. He spent ten years on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) as an independent market maker/floor trader. Henry earned a Masters of Music degree from Chicago Musical College of Roosevelt University in 1969. Henry continues to perform professionally and teach violin and viola on a part-time basis.
